Custom Off Road Machines

    At Sunbuggy we build our own vehicles. These are tubular steel frames bent and welded together here in our 12,000 square foot fabrication facility located at the world famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We design these mean machines for optimal performance in the rugged terrain of the Nellis Dunes off road recreation area. They are not designed to be indestructable tanks. They are built to be nimble, high performance off road machines. We make them light, low to the ground and with a horsepower to weight ratio that is optimal for high desert terrain.

Once the frames are welded together we add suspension specifically designed for that buggy. It's an independent four wheel suspension with just enough travel to absorb shocks from the rocky terrain yet still remain responsive and highly maneuverable.

         After the suspension, we add the motor. These are air and oil cooled V-twin engines that are light, but powerful. Finally the brakes, seats, harnesses and steering are installed and it's ready for a test drive. We typically build 1 and 2 seat buggies that are expert at taming this type of terrain so you need not be, as they're easy to drive with only gas, brake, and steering just like your automatic car.

Amy Carraba, known locally for her Extreme Amy series on Fox5 News came out to cover the new Terra Drift Experience! It was exciting to be on the news and even more so by covered by a professional like Amy Carraba. Seeing her work was impressive as she's really on the ball and knows her stuff. These 14 guys just got their ass kicked by doing the "Vegas Mini-Baja Chase" at Sun Buggy Fun Rentals -Las Vegas Location! Chris, the guy in the red hat, has been promised to a bride and the gang is in Vegas to help him celebrate before he takes his Vows. While Sun Buggy Fun Rentals is a Very popular activity for bachelor parties in Las Vegas, we felt that these guys were a cut above. No-body got lost, or puked in their helmets (just so everyone knows, puked in helmets get retired). On day 2 of a bachelor party in Las Vegas and everyone in the group was still accounted for and not missing, which meant everyone showed up for the Vegas Mini-Baja Chase and had a great time.Good Luck Chris!
