Here she is, Sun Buggy number 408! this buggy represents the latest and greatest Sun Buggy technology, incorporated into a 4 seat buggy! as this buggy nears completion of the assembly stages it'll hit the ground this week for testing and will likely then ship to our new location opening in Winchester Bay Oregon. Special features such as a high torque motor and larger style tires with greater flotation will be fitted to be isdeally suited to running on te huge and steep dunes on the Oregon coast.

Pictured here is Sun Buggy Desert Racer #224 getting ready for final testing. We drive them before anyone else to ensure that everything is 110% before being mixed in to the rental fleet for public consumption. Just needing Wheels and tires, for testing, then the panels will get installed when we make sure it's all good. This represents the latest evolution in our Sun Buggy Desert Racer Series which we've designed to run the Vegas Mini baja Chase. Anyone who's done the Mini Baja Chase knows that it's brutally demanding on the vehicles and thus the need for a specially engineered machine to tackle the run.

For those of you who will be attending the NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend, stop by and pay us a visit. Sun Buggy will be at the show, our booth is right next to the main gate as you come in. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway will also be giving out Coupons for a discount at Sun Buggy Exclusively for those who are at the race this weekend from April 16th to April 18th 2010. If you don't get your Sun Buggy Bucks when you get to the race ask at the ticket booth. These coupons are only redeemable one per person, so if you did get one, don't go ask for more as it won't make things any cheaper!
